Obituary for Kathleen Ann Bowen

Kathleen Ann Bowen, 67 of Homerville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Lodi Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1951 in Nelsonville, Ohio, then adopted by Richard and Delores (Krajeski) McGee.
Her family later moved to Avon, Ohio where Kathleen grew up and graduated from Avon High School in 1969.
Kathleen had been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank in Cleveland and later she worked for Elyria Savings and Trust.
She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Black River Band Boosters and had been a Homerville Highlighters 4-H Advisor. Kathleen enjoyed cross stitching, knitting and reading, especially mystery novels.
She is survived by her husband David, to whom she was married to for 24 years;
Children, Michelle Brennan of LaGrange, OH
Carolyn (Jennifer Blair) Wendling of Norwalk
Alexis (Matt) McGlocklin of Homerville
5 Grandchildren: Breanna and Aidan Brennan, Lilly and Bailey McGlocklin, and Alana Bowen.
Brother, Timothy (Gayle) McGee of Elyria
Sister, Kristine (Donald) Harris of Elyria
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 12:00 noon at Parker Funeral Home, 202 East Main St., Spencer.
Pastor Jeremy Roseberry will officiate.
