Obituary for Joanne Slorgie

Joanne Slorgie, 74 of Lodi, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic.
She was born April 2, 1944 in Lodi to Rook and Anna (Litch) Slorgie.
Joanne graduated from Lodi High School and Ashland College with a Masters in Education.
She had worked as a teacher with multiple school systems in Medina, Wayne and Lorain Counties including Cloverleaf and Wadsworth schools.
Joanne was a member of the Lodi First Congregational Church, Lodi Historical Society, Lodi Railroad Museum and was a former Lodi Village Council member.
She is survived by her Sister, Dorothy (Andy) Olejnik of Cortland, OH
Brother, Steve (Deloros) Slorgie of Kissimmee/St. Cloud, Florida
and beloved nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, at 12:00 PM at the Lodi First Congregational Church, 114 Church Street.
Pastor David Dake will officiate.
Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the church prior to the funeral.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
