Obituary for Edward Molnar

Edward John Molnar, 80 of Chatham, Ohio passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at his home, following a period of declining health.
He was born June 6, 1937 in Lakewood, Ohio to William and Mary (Bobeck) Molnar.
He grew up in the Lakewood and Cleveland area where he attended West High School.
He married Frances Viancourt on June, 14, 1958.
They moved to Chatham in 1972 where he served with the Chatham Fire Department. He was also a Boy Scout Leader, and member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. In 1990 he retired from CEI after 37 years of service.
He was an avid outdoor sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and was a member of the South Cuyahoga Sportsman Association.
Surviving are his wife, Fran

Son, Dave (Joy) Molnar
Grandchildren: Jesse, Larry, Heather, Austin, Wendy, Aaron, Zachary, Daniel, Brandon, Jordan, Jacob, and Morgan
Great-Grandchildren: Bryan, Laurie, Ashley, Ethan, Elliott, Mallory, and Emma
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Edward Jr. and Robert, and brother Richard.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi (330-948-1122).
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 8240 Buffham Rd., Lodi.
Rev. Ed Suszynski will officiate.
Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Medina.
