Obituary for Alberta Alice Bradley

Born April 4, 1929 in Elyria, Ohio to Bert and Alice (Straub) Breyley, graduated from Chatham High School, died October 17, 2017 in Medina, Ohio.
Alberta was married to the late Kenneth Bradley for 62 years. They farmed and were active in many Litchfield area organizations for most of their lives. Alberta sang in the choir of the Litchfield United Church of Christ, was Worthy Matron several times in the Litchfield Order of Eastern Star, active in Litchfield Grange, and Farm Bureau Council. Alberta was a sales rep for Stanley Home Products. She and Kenny were most notable for their love of music, having been the driving force behind the Bradley Family Orchestra, local Square Dances, and the Litchfield Town Band for many years.
Alberta is survived by her sister-in-law, Eleanor (Bradley) Pierce of Medina. Nieces and Nephew, Loranell Breyley, Cheryl Cutler, Jan Pittman, Audrey (Law) Moore, Gordon Law, Merlene (Law) Nava, Carol Charlebois, Kay Winters, great-niece and great- nephew Brenda Swanker and Donnie Swanker.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Bert and Alice (Straub) Breyley, her husband Kenneth Bradley, sister Pauline Wright, brother and sister-in-law Loren and Ruth Breyley, brothers-in-law Ray and Donald Bradley, sister-in-law Mary Alice (Bradley) Davis, nephew David Law, and great-nephew Marty Swanker.
Alberta was a lively, full of life person with a strong spirit. When she became ill her mischievous smile still shown through. She is loved by her family and friends. The family thanks all the caregivers who loving looked after her for many years.
Family and friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH 44254.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 23, at 10 AM.
Rev. Jim Ellison will officiate.
Burial will follow at Litchfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alberta’s memory to the Litchfield Band, Litchfield United Church of Christ, or charity of your choice.
